Jen Runde's blog has awesome ideas for setting up
and organizing your classroom library. I love the
way organized cubby bookshelves look as opposed to
bright plastic bins with books just tossed inside. This
system allows students to easily see the spines of
every book. Jen even labels the individual cubbies by
genre, author, or series. I am a total organized neat
freak and I absolutely love the way Jen's classroom
library looks!
Amy Lemon's blog has great tips for organizing student's school supplies. She uses table caddies! Amy chooses not to deal with individual student's supply boxes. I love this idea of sharing everything. This way the teacher knows every student has the supplies they need. It also keeps the tables more organized by only having one supply bin as opposed to each student's own individual box. |
Hope King's blog has a creative way to send student's off into summer prepared! To make sure her students maintain their knowledge over the summer, Hope created lots of different games that they can play over the summer to keep their skills sharp. She then placed them all into a cute colorful sand pail. I think it is so important that students have access to school materials over the summer. I love how she didn't just give her students worksheets, but fun and engaging games.
